Corridor 10 section Srpska Kuca-Levosoje to be finished within deadline, responsible parties claim

Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic talked yesterday to representatives of investors, supervisory bodies, design engineers and contractors on the section of the southern branch of Corridor 10 from Srpska Kuca to Levosoje, who estimated that all the works would be completed within the deadline and that the highway route would be finished first, so that the section could open for traffic by October.

As announced by the minister's cabinet, the talk was attended by the director of the Roads of Serbia, Zoran Drobnjak, representatives of the Corridors of Serbia, which acts as the supervisory body on this section, representatives of the Institute of Transportation CIP , as well as design engineers and members of the consortium in charge of executing the works – Srbija Autoput and Ratko Mitrovic.

Mihajlovic warned all the participant to be careful and to take care to have the works carried out with top quality. She said that she expected everybody to honor the set deadlines.

– The state has provided all the support it could for the realization of this project. A new agreement has been signed and we expect the contractor and the investor to do their part of the job. We will have another meeting in September in order to see whether everyone is doing what they're supposed to be doing – Mihajlovic said.
