New hotel-tourist complex in Vrdnik to be raised – Fruske Terme to feature 10 pools

A hotel, ten pools, restaurants, a spa center, a salt room, tepidariums, and all this on 28,964 m2, will be included in the tourist offer of Vrdnik as a complex called Fruske Terme. Old tourists, well familiar with Irig and Vrdnik, but also new ones, will be able to enjoy the full offer of this complex as soon as the late 2019.

The hotel-tourist complex, the construction of which has already begun, is in the phase of rough construction works. The earthworks have been finished, and reinforced concrete structures are currently being executed, the investor of the project, Promont Group, explained for eKapija.

The first phase of the works is expected to be completed in August 2019, and as they told us, the works in this phase entail the completion of the pool complex, a wellness unit, a restaurant and 61 rooms. The remaining rooms will be completed by the end of 2019 within the second phase.

The company hasn’t specified the value of the entire investment, since, as they said, not all works have yet been contracted, nor has the equipment yet been chosen.

The planned complex is meant to have four basements, three floors, including the ground floor, and a loft, and will feature a hotel with 416 beds, 10 pools with thermal water, a spa center, saunas and tepidariums.

As they explain for our portal, the third basement will feature a restaurant with pools, the Wellness & Spa center, 16 tepidariums, a salt room and several saunas of different types.

The second basement will feature a spa center with saunas and tepidariums, whereas the first one will contain a restaurant with 290 seats. The ground floor will feature a medical unit, and the loft of the complex will feature conference halls.

The complex was designed by DBA Architects, and the rough construction works are being executed by Best Izgradnja d.o.o. Novi Sad.

Let us remind that Promont Group is already known in Vrdnik for its investment in Hotel Premier Aqua. They say that they are satisfied with its operations and, due to the real demand and the experience with customer satisfaction so far, they’ve recognized a need for a new complex.
