Utva Pancevo produces new plane after 30 years – Sova to make test flights

The new airplane produced at Utva Pancevo, named Sova, will have its first test flight.

Program 41 M, better known as Sova, is a project financed by Jugoimport SDPR, and UTVA has contracted the design, modification, production of a prototype, testing and certification of the plane, the factory announced.

This airplane type was produced last year, and Utva itself managed to design, make and start testing a new plane on its own after more than 30 years.

Sova is meant for training and selection, sports and travel flights, air taxi services and panoramic views.
