How to obtain working permits for foreigners in Serbia?

The Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy has proscribed the manner of issuing and extending working permits for foreigners in Serbia. The Regulation on Working Permits also deals with the manner of proving the fulfillment of the requirements and the requirements for the issuing of permits.

Requests for the issuing or the extension of working permits, as said, are submitted to the organization in charge of employment activities in accordance to the place of residence of the foreigner in question, or the employer's seat, depending on the type of the permit.

The type of the working permit also determines who files the request, and the Regulation explains in detail the types of request, the form and the content for Personal Working Permits, Working Permits for Employment, Working Permits for Referred Persons, Working Permits for Movements within a Company, Working Permits for Independent Professionals, Working Permits for Professional Development and Working Permits for Self-Employment.
