Pension and Disability Insurance Fund to redesign website – Public call opens

The Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of the Republic of Serbia has opened a public call for the redesign of its website (www.pio.rs).

The public procurement procedure has two lots – the redesign of the existing website and the establishment of a text-to-speech synthesis system on a web domain.

The redesigned website should be richer in content that the current one, up-to-date, providing unified forms, easily available to citizens, with easy-to-view, accurate information of interest to insurance beneficiaries and users. The redesigned website needs to have the technical-technological capacities which will enable several electronic services for citizens and the economy to function simultaneously. The services must be adapted to users and fully protected and controlled by the Fund. In order to enable access to the website for persons with special needs, a text-to-speech system needs to be implemented.

The existing site was prepared in the Joomla CMS Engine technology on a Linux server. The redesigned website should also be located on a Linux server and prepared in one of the standard modern technologies based on an Open Source platform so as to not have software libraries or platforms subject to additional licensing costs.

Bids may be submitted by August 27, 2018, at 11 am.
