Cvetković and Dinkić met with Lukašenko and talked about Agreement on free trade with Belarus

The Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Mirko Cvetković and Mlađan Dinkić, have met today (March 3, 2009) on Kopaonik with the President of Belarus, Aleksandar Lukašenko.

Dinkić said to the press before the meeting that the agreement on free trade between Serbia and Belarus should be signed soon.

According to his words, Serbia would, in that way, become interesting to the investors before it entered European Union as the country that is suitable for export-oriented production.

Dinkić announced that Serbia would sign the agreements on free trade with Turkey and Iran as well.

The President of Belarus, Aleksandar Lukašenko, is on vacation on Serbian mountain Kopaonik since Saturday, February 28th, and the representatives of the Government of Serbia are staying on Kopaonik within the scope of the Business Forum where the methods for alleviation of consequences of the global economic crisis are taken in consideration.
