DULIĆ: Concession for Belgrade-South Adriatics highway in 2010

(Oliver Dulić)
The Minister of Environment Protection and Spatial
Planning of Serbia, Oliver Dulić, has announced today (March 3, 2009) that the Government intends
to announce open competition for allotment of concession for construction of
Belgrade-South Adriatics highway in 2010.
He said at conference "Real Estate
Market in Southeast Europe", which was organized by Ekonomist Media Group, that that
road would be built between Belgrade and Ljig, and he also said
that the final decision about that had not been made yet.
Dulić said that the concession for Horgoš-Požega highway
existed no more.
- We have started the procedure for collecting of guarantees - Dulić said and added that that procedure was underway in the foreign bank where the guarantees had been deposited.
Dulić said that the
Government of Serbia expected to collect those guarantees because the financial
structure had not been closed yet, and if concessionaires "Alpine" and "Porr" decided
to start arbitration, Serbia would respond by introducing adequate measures.
