The research encompassed non-smoking, non-drinking people and people not suffering from a serious disease, in order to make the results as accurate as possible. It has turned out that 53 workers died in the past decades, and those who have good relations with their colleagues are healthier and have a longer life expectancy.
Good communication provides an employee with the desired support, making them capable of dealing with stress more easily, as this is a major risk involved in the development of many diseases, the Israeli researchers point out. Although the effects are the same when it comes to both men and women, it has nevertheless turned out that women in managerial positions often have it worse, as they don't have their colleagues' support. It's entirely different for men in the leading positions. Unlike women, they often have full support of numerous colleagues.
