TOP 10 – investments in TRADE CENTRES that drew greatest attention of eKapija's users in 2008

EKapija’s investment team hasrecently finished the analysis and made the rank-list of the investments andinvestment ideas that drew the greatest attention of eKapija’s users in 2008. Theresults are very interesting, with many surprises, and that is why we have decidedto share these information with you.

The projects are classified into 10categories. This time, we are going to present the top ten in the category of TRADECENTRES.

The first-ranked investment is theproject of international group Plaza Centers, which is building Plaza centresin Kragujevac and Belgrade. The project in Kragujevac is in the phase ofaccelerated realization, and two locations in Belgrade are being prepared, one ofwhich is in Višnjica, while the other one is in Kneza Miloša Street, one of themost attractive locations in Serbia, at the place of the building of formerFederal Secretariat for Internal Affairs.

Only few weeks are left until theopening of the second-ranked project shopping mall Ušće, which is preparedby MPC Holding/MPC Properties. Belgrade has already got Delta City, and noweven larger trade centre Ušće will be opened, so that the competition isunderway …

The third place and the fourth placeare shared by two projects that are still in the phase when the land is being procured,the technical dossier is being designed or the location is being prepared.These projects are Shopping settlement “Brdo” in Belgrade, near Orlovačkacloverleaf interchange and Trade centre on Ada Huja in Belgrade. Orlovačkacloverleaf interchange has become a “golden” location following the opening ofa section of the bypass around Belgrade, while the investment on Ada Huja willrepresent the real pearl in the offer on the Danubian side of Belgrade.

Verano Group is introduced as the mainactor in “Brdo” project, and its other investment in revival of Department StoresBeograd, which will finally end the long-lasting agony of this, once largemarket chain, has drawn significant attention of eKapija’s users, so that we’vegot the fifth place at the TOP 10 list of trade centres.
