Cold drinks should be avoided in hot weather

Drinking cold water and sodas full of ice during hot summer days is a big mistake, as cold liquid takes much more to spread throughout the body and hydrate it. That’s why it’s best to drink water at room temperature, as the body benefits the quickest that way. Also, water is always better than juices.
Furthermore, even though it’s hard to imagine, warm teas are also a good option, but only if the air is dry, not humid. Teas stimulate sweating, thereby cooling the body. Keep in mind that the body loses liquid through sweating, which needs to be replenished.
Doctors say that alcohol should be avoided, as it further dries the organism, and coffee intake should also be reduced. Wherever you are, always keep a bottle of water with you and take sips every once in a while. Doing this every day keeps the body hydrated and more capable of withstanding the heat.
