Kuehne Nagel logistics center near Ljubljana to open in September

The construction of the biggest pharmaceutical storage of Kuehne + Nagel at Brnik near Ljubljana is in its final stages.

According to the initial plan, the new logistics center was supposed to be completed last month, but the hard winter conditions caused the construction to be prolonged by two months.

The 90,000-m2 center, in which EUR 50 million was invested, should thereby start working in September, STA reported.

Kuehne + Nagel is currently in the process of obtaining the certification and the exploitation permit. They also expect to obtain a building permit for another warehouse on the other side of the road.

The construction of another logistics center, belonging to cargo-partner, an international company which provides logistics and information services, will begin soon at Brnik, in close proximity to the Ljubljana Airport. The foundation stone for this iLogistics center should be laid down on August 30.
