Third auction for sale of "Dimitrije Tucović" on March 25th

The Privatization Agency has announced that the First Serbian Glass Factory "Dimitrije Tucović" from Belgrade, which is in bankruptcy, will be offered for sale for the third time on March 25th.

The starting price is 4.6 billion RSD, while the necessary deposit for participation in the auction amounts to 2.4 billion RSD. The starting price at first two auctions, which did not attract any buyers, amounted to 5.9 billion RSD.



The sugar plant will be offered for sale as a juristic person that owns production complexes at two locations – in the vicinity of Ada Ciganlija where the first sugar plant in Serbia was founded in 1898, and in Padinska Skela where the new factory is situated.

The factories were closed in 1982 and 1998, respectively.

Production-business complex in the vicinity of Ada Ciganlija covers the area of 19,000 square meters, and the most significant facilities are: administrative building, main hall, kiln and three warehouses.

The refining capacity of the factory in Padinska Skela is 6,000 tons of sugar beet a day. It is situated in the complex at 102 ha, which also includes land for growing of sugar beet, main hall, warehouse, power plant, silos and tanks for crude oil and molasses.
