(Flags of Mexico and Serbia) Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic stated today at the summit of the Pacific Alliance in Mexico that the country's trade and economic cooperation with the states gathered around that initiative were not as strong as they could be and that there were potentials for improving them.

– We believe that it is possible to enhance the cooperation in the fields of agriculture and food industry, mining, energy, telecommunications and construction, not just in the form of traditional trade, but also through investments which would enable joint ventures in the markets of Southeast and East Europe, as well as Central Asia and Asia Minor, with which Serbia has liberalized the trade – Dacic said.

The Pacific Alliance is a Latin American trade bloc, with Columbia, Chile, Mexico and Peru as the standing members.
