As the company announced, they will set aside slightly over RSD 90 million for the job, and the priorities have been determined based of requests by local self-governments, due to an increase in the volume of road traffic.
In the upcoming period, they specify, new safety equipment and signalization will be provided for the road crossing in Klenje on the railway Belgrade-Mladenovac, as well as in Mladenovac itself.
As for the Nis-Presevo railway, road crossings in Rajince, not far from Presevo, as well as between the railway stations Leskovac and Djordjevo, will be secured with half-barriers and light signalization in the upcoming period.
The degree of security will also be raised on a road crossing in Subotica, on the Subotica-Bogojevo-state border railway, but also on the road crossing in Brasina, on the regional railway Ruma-Sabac-Donja Borina-state border.
The works will be realized continuously on the said road crossings, and the first activities are expected to start in a months, the company says and adds that the works on three of the planned six road crossing might be completed by the end of November, namely, in Klenje, Brasina and Rajince, following which the installation of new signalization and safety equipment will continue on the remaining three road crossings encompassed by the project.
