European Union plans to invest 90 billion EUR in the Danube - will companies from Serbia do anything

Belgrade-based “Unioninženjering“ has been trying for several months to unite domestic potentials, institutions and commercial organizations, in order to take part in competition for finance from “Interreg fund“ of European Union on time for one concrete project – “Revitalization of Baja-Bezdan canal“, of which worth is estimated to about €150m.

During the contacts with the representatives of Hungary, on the occassion of revitalization of Baja-Bezdan canal, our side obtained information that EU plans to invest at least 90 billion EUR in modernization, revitalization and better revalorization of the territory around the Danube river.
