Extension of deadline for sale of company "Dragan Marković" – documentation available prior to March 6th

The Privatization Agency has extended the deadline for submission of bids for purchase of agricultural farm "Dragan Marković" from Obrenovac until March 27th.

The deadline for submission of requests for purchase of tender documentation is March 6th.

All companies that have been dealing with production and sale of agricultural products over the last three years, and whose incomes in 2007 exceeded 9m EUR, can bid on the repeated tender for sale of "Dragan Marković".

Company "Dragan Marković" is in restructuring, and it was sold to the consortium of companies "Midlands resources", "Nicko agrar" and "Astra simit" in 2003 for 82m RSD, but the contract was cancelled after the workers went out on strike because the buyer did not fulfill contractual obligations.

The previous tender for sale of that company was declared unsuccessful at the end of the last year because there were no obligatory bids, and the tender documentation was bought only by company "Žitoprodukt" from Zrenjanin.
