Municipality of Sokobanja announced open competition for design of Tourist Information System (TIS)

- Municipality of Sokobanja announced public procurement for design of Tourist Information System (TIS) of Sokobanja on February 10, 2009. It is unique project in Serbia, and it will serve to improve the management of this tourist destination - says Marija Žikić, the Manager of the Department of economy and local economic development.

TIS comprises two components – web portal, which will unite information on all tourist capacities on the territory of the municipality, and e-portal, which will enable registration of guests and advertising of the entire offer of Sokobanja. The project will be financed by the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.

The Organization for tourism, culture and sport will be responsible for complete information system, while the obligation of the selected bidder will be to keep the website up to date during one year. The bids will be opened on February 24th.
