Twenty-eight new irrigation project are planned for the next year, said Serbian Minister of Agriculture Branislav Nedimovic.
At the marking of the government’s first anniversary in Subotica, he also said that, once the projects are completed, 104 hectares of agricultural land will be irrigated.
He also announced that the Tisa-Palic irrigation system would be completed soon and emphasized that it was being built in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Vojvodina.
