Jugoremedija put up for sale again – Bid deadline August 6

The bankruptcy supervisor of Jugoremedija has advertised a new sale of the Zrenjanin-based pharmaceutical factory through a public collection of bids.

The value of the pharmaceutical factory has been estimated at nearly RSD 3.9 billion, and interested buyers may purchase the documentation for RSD 500,000.

As the bankruptcy supervisor, Radovan Savic, says for eKapija, the price is the same as in the previous attempt at a sale of Jugoremedija in February, which saw some interest, but where no bids were sent after all.

– There are several potential investors now as well, who have contacted the Ministry of Economy. It seems that the decisive factor for potential purchasers is the returning of the permits for the marketing of 22 medicines to Jugoremedija, currently the subject of a lawsuit at the Commercial Court in Zrenjanin – Savic says.

He points out that the facilities are currently not working, but that they are in a good condition and that the new purchaser could re-start the production very quickly with an additional investment.

The advertised property of Jugoremedija includes the factory's industrial complex, the accompanying equipment, an apartment, 28 motor vehicles, the inventory... The sale also includes the intellectual property – 21 medicine trademarks, as well as the lawsuit at the Commercial Court of Zrenjanin for the returning of the permits for the marketing of 22 medicines.

Trademarked medical products, 9 of them, as well as 12 medical products – generic medicines for which Jugoremedija owns a full technological procedure, are also being sold.

The bids may be submitted by August 6, at 11:45 am and will be publicly opened at the factory's premises 15 minutes later.
