Čajetina analyzes potentials of multipurpose use of subterranean geothermal waters on territory of municipality

Municipality of Čajetina is going to order the design of the study "Appraisal of resources and possibilities of multipurpose use of subterranean waters on the territory of Municipality of Čajetina", which will be carried out by the Faculty of Mining and Geology in Belgrade.

As the representatives of the municipality explained, based on earlier analyses of smaller scope, it is assumed that Čajetina lies on a lake of geo-thermal waters and that there are great chances that these potential sources of hot and regular water could be used for various purposes, primarily for the sake of resolving municipal problems with water supply for the next few centuries, as well as for development of spa tourism.
