Capitol Park Rakovica to get another 2,300 m2 – New section to open in October 2018

After successfully opening two retail parks in 2017 and starting works at Capitol Park Leskovac this month, British property investor and asset manager Poseidon Group together with its partner, the Belgian company Mitiska REIM, are set to expand their retail complex in Rakovica, Poseidon Group Serbia announced.

The second phase of construction at Capitol Park Rakovica is now underway, with a total additional area of 2,300 m2, to open in autumn this year. Customers will enjoy shopping at four new stores, including Fashion & Friends Outlet Outlet, Intersport, Koton and Opposite footwear, as well as Lunch Express restaurant.

– In less than eight months, Capitol Park Rakovica has established itself as a new center for leisure and entertainment events in Belgrade, as well as providing a new shopping experience for Rakovica residents, as well as people from the surrounding municipalities – Poseidon Group’s corporate affairs director James Gunn highlighted the positive experience of working with the Municipality of Rakovica and the significance of the retail park expansion.

– Our successful retail park brand in Serbia has attracted new tenants which allows us to open new space in record time. International and the best local brands were equally interested in joining our Rakovica scheme which will open in time for the Capitol Park’s first anniversary in October.

Poseidon Group and Mitiska REIM’s retail park brand in Serbia was established with Capitol Park Sabac in 2014. The company plans to operate a total of 10 Capitol Park schemes by the end of 2020.
