Construction of public garage with heliport begins on Kopaonik – Opening no later than December 2018

Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic and the director of the PE Ski Resorts of Serbia, Dejan Djika, attended the begging of the construction of the first public garage with a heliport this weekend on Kopaonik. The project should be completed by December.

The construction of a garage with 312 parking spaces is one of the most important infrastructural projects on Kopaonik and it will contribute considerably to solving the chronic, burning issue that tourists, above all, have during the winter season, Minister Ljajic said.

He said that the investment was worth more than RSD 570 million and that the ministry had set aside RSD 100 million, whereas the rest would be provided through regular operations of the Ski Resorts of Serbia.

– In any case, something that will be absolutely returned through the revenues realized by the Ski Resorts of Serbia. We believe that this is one of those projects that have been expected for a long time and I hope that the project will completed according to plan – by the beginning of the winter tourist season and no later than December – Ljajic said.
