Vojvodina to invest 1.2 billion RSD in local projects

The Executive Council of Vojvodina has adopted the work programme of theProvincial Fund for Capital Investments for the first three months of this year,which anticipates investment of 1.2 billion RSD in the projects suggested bylocal self-government.

According to the announcement from the meeting of the Provincial ExecutiveCouncil, 165.3m RSD will be set aside for architecture, city planning andconstruction, 33.3m RSD will be invested in energy sector, while 9.8m RSD willbe spent on technological development and equipping.

Total of 6.5m RSD will be invested in the projects for development of agriculture,waterpower engineering and environment protection projects will get 239.8m RSD,125.4m RSD will be invested in health care and social care, while 150m RSD willbe spent on education, science and innovations.

According to that programme, transportation and telecommunications will have483m RSD at their disposal, while over 6.5m RSD will be invested inconstruction of new facilities, reconstruction and refurbishment of the existingfacilities in the domain of tourism, catering, in spa resorts and sanatoriums.
