Marfin Banka enlarged basic capital to 63.9m EUR

Marfin Banka has enlarged its basic capital through distribution of the 15th issue of common stocks without public offer - that bank announced today (January 28, 2009) on the website of the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
The basic capital of Marfin Banka has been increased from 12.63m to 63.9m EUR on December 31, 2008.
The people from the Belgrade-based said that total nominal value of stocks from the 15th issue had amounted to 1.11 billion RSD, and that the 15th issue had included 2.22m securities worth 500 RSD each.
The stocks from the 15th issue were sold in advance to Marfin Popular Bank Public from Cyprus.
The stocks from the 15th issue can not be the subject of the secondary public offer in an organized market for, at least, 12 months from the day of the issuing.
The securities of Marfin Banka - over 6.28m of them, entered the Belgrade Stock Exchange in September 2005. At the moment, these stocks cost 600 RSD. Their maximum price was registered at the end of January 2008 - 1,198 RSD, while the minimum price of 528 RSD was registered at the end of November 2008.
The value of the market capitalization of Marfin Banka is 2.43 billion RSD.
