Soon tender for construction of Steam Power Plant-Heating Plant "Novi Sad" – investment worth 200m EUR

The State Secretary in the Ministry of Energy of Serbia, Nikola Rajaković, said that the tender for construction of new Steam Power Plant-Heating Plant in Novi Sad would be announced soon.

- In few weeks, or maybe even in few days, we will announce the tender for Steam Power Plant-Heating Plant "Novi Sad" – he said at the press conference.

According to some earlier announcements of the management of “Panonske termoelektrane”, the tender for construction of new gas-steam block (480 MW of electric power, 300 MW of heating power) in Steam Power Plant-Heating Plant in Novi Sad should be announced in January.

The people from the Management said that the new Steam Power Plant-Heating Plant, worth 200m EUR, should be built prior to year 2012 if strategic partner was selected on the tender.
