"Novosadska fabrika kabela" sold to Cypriot company "East Point" for 112.9m EUR

- “Novosadska fabrika kabela" (Novi Sad’s Cable Factory) has been sold to Cypriot company "East Point", owned by Serbian businessman Zoran Drakulić, for about 112.9m EUR – the Privatization Agency announced today (January 26, 2009).

According to the announcement, that price was offered for 100% of capital of the Novi Sad-based company, and the company from Cyprus accepted both minimum and additional obligations in the social program.

"East Point" was the only bidder on the tender, and the contract with the Share Fund on purchase of capital of "Novosadska fabrika kabela" was signed on Friday, January 23rd.
