Former State Secretary Janko Guzijan appointed as Manager for Tax Issues in company "Philip Morris"

Former State Secretary within the Ministry of Finance, Janko Guzijan, has been appointed as the Manager for Tax Issue in company "Philip Morris". Guzijan will take on the responsibility for tax issues of this company in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Macedonia.

Guzijan started working for the Ministry of Finance in 2002 as an assistant for macroeconomic and fiscal analyses. He also works as a special adviser of the International Monetary Fund since June 2004.

He was the State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance in the period between May 2007 and December 2008.

He created regulations governing the excise taxes while he was working for the Ministry of Finance.
