“Fiat” is taking over 35% of the American “Chrysler LLC”?

Italian car manufacturer, “Fiat” , will most probably take over 35% of the American “Chrysler LLC” company, with a possibility to increase that share.

British journal, “Financial Times”, published on its website, that “Fiat” will not buy “Chrysler” shares, according to information from the people participating in negotiations of the two companies.

Instead, Italian manufacturer will invest the money in some production plants of the American company, based on which “Chrysler” will become owner of 35%.

“Fiat” will also help “Chrysler” to start production of parts for “Fiat” vehicles in American factories, and it would also allow usage of Italian technology.

It is expected that “Fiat” and “Chrysler” agreement will be officially announced in the next couple of days.
