Guinea interested in cooperation with "Jat Airways"

- Guinea wants to help Serbian airliner "Jat
Airways" introduce the line between that African country and other
countries – Jusuf Sampil, the leader of Guinean delegation, said today (January
15, 2009).
He said at the meeting in the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade that "Jat
Airways" could establish the base with several airplanes in Guinea.
- We do not want to buy airplanes, but to be able to fly with “Jat Airways” from
Guinea to any part of the world – Sampil pointed out.
The Assistant to the Minister of Air Transportation of Serbia, Radoslav Tomašević, said that Serbia was willing to assist the citizens of Guinea in education of pilots and mechanics.
The leader of the five-member business delegation of Guinea also said that that underdeveloped country in Western Africa required aid to introduce electricity to the capital city of Konakri.
Sampil added that Guinea had about 10m citizens and that it was rich with bauxite, gold and diamonds.
The owner of company "Ćurčić export-import", Rajko Ćurčić, who brough the delegation of Guinea to Serbia, said that they had visited bus factory "Ikarbus" and that he suggested to them that they should buy 50 buses.
- The visit to Industry of Machines and Tractors (IMT) is also in the pipeline – he added.
The delegation from Guinea will be staying in Serbia for two more days.
