Marko Cadez first candidate for new minister of economy?

(Marko Cadez) Marko Cadez, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS), is the most likely candidate for the new minister of economy, Srpski Telegraf writes.

As the newspaper says, Cadez should replace the current minister, Goran Knezevic, who will not be able to perform the duties due to health reasons, in the upcoming reconstruction of the government and no later than by mid-June.

Cadez says for Srpski Telegraf that he has heard the rumors about his being one of the potential new ministers, but notes that no one has yet offered him the function officially or unofficially.

– For now, I’m certainly sticking to what I do and I believe that I can do a lot there. I would have to really think it through if the ministerial function is offered to me, because the job of the president of the CCIS is closely tied to the economy and provides one with the possibility to communicate with everyone. It is also very good that the president of the CCIS can institutionally discuss anything with any minister – Cadez explains.
