"Galeb group" doubled export to 5.4m EUR

Šabac-based "Galeb group" has announced that it exported 5.4m EUR worth of products in 2008, which is twice as much as in 2007.

According to the management of "Galeb group", that company’s export in 2007 amounted to 2.6m EUR.

Out of 11 enterprises within that company, the biggest export, worth 900,000 EUR, was registered by the Factory of signalling devices for railway traffic, which exported products to Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro.

The factory for production of global positioning (GP) instruments registered export worth 600,000 EUR.

The company’s turnover grew by 17% in 2008, reaching about 35m EUR.
