Tender for rehabilitation of 67 km of railway in Kosovo opens

The tender for the rehabilitation of 67 km of railway in Kosovo is in progress.

INFRAKOS intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development towards the cost of rehabilitation of the southern part of Railway Route 10.

Rail Route 10 presents the existing railway line in total length of 252 km with general orientation Kraljevo-Pristina-Gorce Petrov (FYR Macedonia). The railway line is crossing Kosovo at a length of 148 km.


Subject of this contract is the rehabilitation of the southern part of Railway Route 10 between Fushe Kosove and Hanii Elezit, which corresponds to an overall length of roughly 67 km.

This international tender is open until June 28.
