As Dusan Garibovic, Director General of the company said in his interview with the CorD magazine, “the negotiations pertain to the tender from 2010, which has not been realized so far and which we are now finalizing with shortened delivery deadlines and larger financial concessions”.
– These engines are ready for use in Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Germany and all the electronic systems servicing those railway infrastructures – he said.
Garibovic added that Serbia Cargo also tried to save money and create income wherever it could, so, as he says “it will use its own resources for the repair of 1,100 freight rail cars this year”.
– Furthermore, we are also taking care to refresh the most important workforce, so we currently have 100 people in training, and we will hire another 70 technicians by the end of the year, who will become rail engineers after one year – Garibovic added.
