New ship was floated on the Danube by Kladovo’s ship builders, purposed for transportation of dusted freight and containers. This is 5th ship in a row from the agreement with business partners from Holland. Ship Ina, 135 meters long and 11,45 meters wide, is the biggest ship ever built on Kladovo’s shipyard, “Rhein Donau Yard”, and the biggest ever made in Serbia.

-In the production halls, we are preparing sections for two more ships, and according signed contracts we secured our activities until the end of 2009, those were the words of Radu Ardelean, President of Management Board of the shipyard, “Rhein Donau Yard”.

- Because of insufficient number of workers, we started cooperation with the National employment service, and we have started training of prequalification of unemployed persons, nine months ago, for shp builders, electrical and gas smelters. We specially asked from the Technical school in Kladovo to open up a department which would educate ship builders.

In “Rhein Donau Yard” shipyard, a passenger boat, Little prince from Austria is being repaired, as well as river ships of Krajina – Bor and Greben, which would be on duty near HE Djerdap I with a task to prevent ice piles in Djerdap, which would allow regular production of power in the largest Danube power plant.
