Delegation of Italian construction companies to visit Serbia in late May

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction Zorana Mihajlovic talked with the new ambassador of Italy to Serbia, Carlo Lo Cascio, this Friday, May 11, 2018, about the cooperation of the two countries in the field of transport and infrastructure, as well as the upcoming visit of the delegation of Italian businessmen.

In late May, Serbia will be visited by a delegation of Italian businessmen from the field of infrastructure, headed by the Italian Association of Private Construction Contractors (ANCE), which will allow them to learn in more detail about the infrastructural projects the realization of which is planned for the upcoming period, says the press release by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.

The deputy prime minister emphasized the good cooperation with Italy in her field of competence as a minister, highlighting the importance of experience and knowledge Italian companies bring to Serbia.

Ambassador Lo Cascio emphasized the long-term consistent support provided by Italy to Serbia on its road to the EU membership, as well as the readiness of the Italian side to deepen the cooperation through concrete projects.

– To me, it's a great honor to return to Serbia as an ambassador after nine years. Our two countries have good relations in all sectors and I am sure that we will do a lot together – Lo Cascio emphasized.
