"Ikea" is interested in investing into 3 "Simpo's" factories in Serbia

Minister of trade and services of Serbia, Slobodan Milosavljevic, stated that the Swedish company "Ikea" was interested in investing into three "Simpo`s" factories from Vranje.

- "Ikea" is interested in the factory for children`s beds, factory for matresses and factory for the elements for wooden industry - Minister Milosavljevic said in the interview to Beta agency.

Milosavljevic stated that "Ikea" was interested in building up 3 commercial centers of 100.000 square meters, in the next 3 to 5 years, here in Serbia.

- I home that with "Ikea" another big commercial chain will come, and it is being negotiated about that as well, it was stated by Minister Milosavljevic.

According to his words, at least one leader in the sector of food and drinks retailers could come with "Ikea", and also some sellers of white appliances, acustic equipment and "everything for the house" program.

As he named, negotiations with large commercial chains like "Spar", "Ramstore", "Tesco", about coming to Serbia, are still in the process, but non specifically confirmed weather they will come or not.
