“Zorka-mineral fertilizers” at auction on February, 20th, 2009

Agency for privatization will offer on sale property of the company “Zorka-mineral fertilizers” from Sabac, at public auction on February, 20th, 2009, by the starting price of 6,45 million euros.

It is being offered the following: 108 buildings with plant for processing of chemical products, restaurant and three warehouses, land and equipment, all named in the announcement published by the Agency for privatization.

The buyer will be obliged to pay 5.000 euros for documentation, and to sign a contract about confidential data, and also to keep all workers presently employed.

In the period of 1 year after signing of the contract, the buyer is obliged to start a production of mineral fertilizers and to keep the continuity of the production for at least 2 years.

The right for participation on this tender will not have domestic socially owned companies, or corporate entities and individuals which have unsettled obligations towards this company, or any dependent companies of “Zorka-mineral fertilizers” nor any convicted individuals or anyone being presently prosecuted for criminal actions.

The participant is obliged to make a deposit payment of 650.000 euros or to submit high-class bank guarantee, no later than February, 11th, while application deadline is February, 12th, 2009.

This is the second attempt of sale of “Zorka-mineral fertilizers”. This company was previously offered on tender along with other companies within “Zorka system” – “Zorka holding” and “Zorka colored metallurgy”, but the tender was announced unsuccessful.

Public auction sale is different from tender sale, as what is offered to the buyer is property not the capital of the company, and all profit from the sale is proportionally distributed to the company’s beneficiaries, instead of placing it in the budget.
