KBC bank in Serbia is planning to increase its capital for 35 million euros, instead of 60 million euros firstly planned for 2009, it was stated by the President of Executive Board of the Bank, Avram Milenkovic.
He addressed the press saying that in the next year their number of branch offices will be increased from 65 to 73, and they will employ around 100 new workers, meaning the bank will have a total of 700 employees.
- KBC bank Serbia has successfully finished integration in the Belgian bank group, KBC, said Avram Milenkovic, adding that the new capital will be sued for further expansion of business in Serbia.
According his estimation, it is still not certain what kind of conditions banking sector of Serbia will have in 2009.
KBC bank will prepare itself for introduction of new modern services at Serbian market.
KBC bank added 50 million euros in its capital in 2008 with the support of KBC group, therefore share holding capital reached 5,46 billion dinars by the end of June (69,1 million euros according official medium rate on the day of June, 30th).
