Strategic partnership between Zastava arms and company Remington USA since January 1, 2006 ?

Director of Zastava Arms, Dragoljub Grujović, announced that the contract on partnership with certain American factory (unofficially – Remington) had been prepared and it would applied starting from Januray 1, 2006. For two years already, Zastava Arms has contract signed with American company K.B.I on sale of its arms in USA and that contract will expire at the end of 2005. Unofficially, the basic reason for delay of signing of contract with Remington is former contract with K.B.I.

The new partner will provide new technologies, it will help in development of hunting and sports arms and appear together with Zastava Arms on the world market with the new brand. American partner wants to install part of its capacities for arms production in Kragujevac.
