Supreme commercial court in Belgrade has introduced a program for automatic supervision of cases – access to all process on line

In the Supreme commercial court in Belgrade, there will be installed a program for automatic supervision of cases, which would provide to this court control and supervision over 16 first grade courts through internet.

Minister of justice, Snezana Malovic, stated that this program had been developed within the Project of reform of administration of commercial courts in Serbia, in which USAID invested 13,7 million USD, and Ministry of justice invested around 100 million dinars.

-Automatization of commercial courts in Serbia is directed towards shorter duration of procedures in front of the court, towards more approachable justice, towards strengthening of commerce of Serbia and creating possibilities for continuance of domestic and foreign investments, as the Minister pointed out.

According to her words, automatization of work of commercial courts should result in more objective, efficient and transparent courts, and simplified work for courts’ employees.

Malovic stressed out that all parties would be able to access the process they are involved in through internet, without the need to come to the court in order to check their status.

As it is stated, this system would free the judges and employees in the court from the old registers and papers, and would provide them direct access through internet to the most important data related to certain court process.

Among other things, this system would provide following up of particular cases, scheduling of trial dates, unique statistic reports about the work of the Supreme Commercial court, Supreme court and Ministry of justice.
