Factory for production of food for fish and domestic animals, “Eco feed” is starting production in March, 2009

In the industrial zone in Secanj, from March, 2009, there will be officially opened a factory for production of food for fish and domestic animals, “Eco feed”, as it was stated by the Factory’s Director, Majo Milosevic.

With most modern machines and technologies, the factory in Secanj, will be producing from 140 to 200 tones of food on daily basis.

Today, there are 6 fishing locations in Secanj Municipality with around 2.500 ha of water areas in which fish are fed traditionally, mostly with wheat. Because of that “Eco feed” will be selling their fish food to foreign clients.

Investor of the factory “Eco feed” DOO from Novi Sad announced that the factory would hire 40 workers, and during the first year of production another 40.
