Serbian police gets IT equipment for more efficient crime fighting – American donation worth USD 380,000

On this occasion, Stefanovic pointed out that the donation, worth USD 380,000, will enable the connecting of police stations in Belgrade with the center for crime analytics.
As he added, this will contribute to more efficient operations of the Belgrade crime investigations police, but also provide better insight into events on the field and their analysis, enabling a more efficient countering of all forms of criminal activities.
The deputy prime minister explained that the signed agreement was a continuation of the cooperation between Serbia and the USA in countering organized crime and terrorism and in the field of upgrading the police forces’ operations and added that it was important for Serbia to have the USA remain its partner in fighting terrorism.
Stefanovic also pointed out that the donation was a part of a multi-annual project worth USD 1.1 million, it is said.
