"Siemens IT" in Serbia to merge with mother company "Siemens" Belgrade

Belgrade-based company "Siemens IT" will be merged with Serbian "Siemens", which is also the owner of that company, on January 1st, 2009.

According to the Contract on merger, published in Politika, the capital of Serbian "Siemens" will not be increasing following the merger with "Siemens IT".

"Siemens" exists in Belgrade since 1996 and it has 110 employees. Its owner is Austrian "Siemens AG".

"Siemens" took over Serbian IT company "Ibis Sys" in 2005 and that company changed its name into "Siemens Business Services" in 2006 and into "Siemens IT Solutions and Services" in 2007.
