Austria's Styria is very interested in the media market in the entire region, as confirmed for Ljubljana-based Delo by Klaus Schweighofer, director of Styria International.

– We are again focused on the markets of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia, in which we are already quite active and successful – Schweighofer says.

He explained that they've already started a detailed analysis of the markets, which are promising, in their opinion, but he didn't want to announce when the first concrete steps are to be taken, this or next year.

Schweighofer said that Styria was returning to Slovenia, and Delo unofficially reports that the company is interested in purchasing the portal zurnal24.si.

In this country, Styria owns over a quarter of the newspaper Dnevnik and web portals mojedelo.com and bolha.com.

The company owns six web portals and several printed media in Croatia, including Vecernji List and Poslovni Dnevnik, as well as 24sata.
