"Politika" to put 6.4m EUR worth of printing machine into operation

Publishing company "Politika" announced that the new printing machine worth 6.4m EUR would be put into operation on December 10, 2008.

As Srđan Markotić from "Politika" explained for Beta agency, total investment in this new machine amounts to 8m EUR because the new printing hall has been equipped and the accompanying equipment has been procured.

According to his words, the new machine, made by company Komori, can print 1.25m pages of A4 format per hour, while the existing machines can print up to 50% of that number of pages per hour.

As Markotić explained, that means that new machine Komori 38 LR - 438/1250 can print 40,000 copies of 64-page magazine in two hours.

The page of A4 format is 29.7 cm long and 21 cm wide.
