Intersport ISI realizes income of EUR 101 million in 2017 – Nineteen new sports equipment stores open in the region

Intersport ISI Group realized an income of EUR 101 million in 2017, an increase by 13% compared to 2016, the company announced.
In 2017, Intersport ISI increased its sales in all its markets, and the sales revenues in Serbia grew by 21.4%.
The group solidified its position as the leading sports trader in the region by expanding its retail network, which was joined in 2017 by 11 new Intersport stores, 5 The Athlete's Foot stores and 3 franchise stores.
Of the total of 128 outlets in the region, as many as 19 opened last year. This means that nearly 15% of the stores, that is, one in seven stores, are new.
Its strategic goals include further growth and development of the sales network, as well as enhanced growth of online sales.
– We've made a big step forward in the field of online sales by expanding the online purchase option to Serbia and Croatia – stated Mateja Jesenek, CEO of Intersport ISI Group.
