Ukrainian airline UIA planning flights to Belgrade from 2020

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) intends to launch new services in the next five years, among which are flights to Zagreb and Belgrade.


As EX-YU Aviation News reports, flights from Kiev to Zagreb are planned to commence in 2021, while flights to Belgrade will follow a year later, in 2022.

At the moment, there are no flights to the capital of Ukraine from either Zagreb or Belgrade.

Ukraine's Aerosvit Airlines operated flights between Kiev and the Serbian capital until June 2011. The carrier has since filed for bankruptcy.

Air Serbia introduced six weekly flights between Belgrade and Kiev in the summer of 2016, but the route was operated only seasonally
