UniCredit Bank in Serbia has announced that it will introduce privileges for loan repayment tomorrow (November 25, 2008).

UniCredit will, thus, become the fifth bank in Serbian market that enables early repayment of loans without any additional fee.

According to the announcement, UniCredit Bank will make it possible for the clients to refinance the loans approved by other banks without any additional fee.

The bank will enable the clients who took the loans in foreign currencies to transfer them into RSD. The clients are also enabled to replace the loans approved in CHF with the loans in EUR, also without fee.

That privilege also applies to mortgage loans approved by UniCredit Bank since it is defined in the loan contract that the client can request the currency to be changed once during the repayment period without any fee.

According to the agreement with the National Bank of Serbia, the four largest banks in Serbia - Komercijalna, Intesa, Raiffeisen and Hypo Alpe-Adria - will introduce privileges for loan repayment today.
