Potential opening of Chinese medical center in Serbia

The president of the National Council of Serbia for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, Tomislav Nikolic, discussed a further enhancement of the two states' economic cooperation with Ambassador of China Li Manchang on February 27.

They agreed that there was potential for an enhancement of cooperation in nearly all fields, as well as the interest in having traditional Chinese medicine applied in Serbia.

Ambassador Li pointed out that China was interested in opening a medical center in Serbia.

As announced by his cabinet, Nikolic pointed out that the excellent political relations of Chinese and Serbian leaders are also followed by an increasingly more intensive economic cooperation between the two states.

Ambassador of China notified Nikolic of the upcoming visits of state-owned and private Chinese companies interested in investing in Serbia and handed him a letter from Chinese President Xi Jinping which highlights his belief in the further strengthening of the economic cooperation with Serbia, the press release says.
