Serbia and China soon to found joint company for construction of industrial-technology park in Belgrade

The formation of a joint Serbian-Chinese company for the purpose of the construction of an industrial-technology park in Belgrade, on an area of 320 hectares, is expected to take place soon, and the works should start this year, Nenad Popovic, the minister without a portfolio in charge of innovation and technological development, stated in Novi Sad.

Both sides are putting in maximum effort in carrying out the procedures preceding the signing of the document on the founding of the joint company, he said at the opening of the traditional Winter Academy, organized by the Department of Industrial Engineering of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, in cooperation with the Donghua University in Shanghai.

– China is a powerful partner for Serbia in science, education, industry, politics and other fields. This extraordinary cooperation is the envy of many – Popovic said and emphasized that the cooperation with the Chinese partners would continue on the excellent foundations established in Serbia.
